But I downloaded Lightroom, and even though it's less effective than Photoshop (might also be because I have no idea how to use it) it does indeed save a lot of time.


So, here are a few pictures of this year's Japan Expo. I went with my mom as usual, but we didn't see much this year, I feel like it's getting less and less interesting. We visited some artists and I made some much needed purchases ... But mostly the best thing was the Toei booth with all the Sailor Moon merch.

I'd just like to point that they had a disco ball above the stall.









They also had a beauty bar, but I didn't partake in it as I was wearing lolita and had a full face of makeup on. It looked very interesting though, and I think they were using the Sailor Moon cosmetics made by Creer Beauté. I think it was a neat idea and it looked really fun !







So much merchandising it was the end of me. Hardcore fans please don't stone me, but I had never watched Sailor Moon before that (booooo !) and I started watching the classic anime when I came back from Paris and Aghatine lent me the first 3 mangas. I'm not progressing very fast as I have little time for myself. But it's better than nothing. I want to watch Sailor Moon Crystal last, as it's still ongoing and I hate waiting for new seasons to come. I'm more of a binge watch person I guess.
I ended up buying some cosmetics ... I'm so weak.










At some point my mother and I needed to eat ... Finding food that didn't have meat or fish was a nightmare. I'm glad I had picked something to eat other than what we bought because these onigiris had tuna and it wasn't written anywhere ... I don't even know if these Dango were 100% animal free, because gelatin is everywhere.

At some point we tried going for the Nintendo booth where they were distributing Pokémons ... but we had to queue for a picture with some 3D generated Pokémons before and we were too lazy. So we went back empty handed ... Last time we went they had way more freebies to give away.

After that I decided it was time to spent some more money, so I went shopping of course ! First we stopped at a jewelry booth that had the cutest accessories ! As a Sailor Moon intoxicated person, I really wanted the moon necklace, but decided to leave alone in the end. The shop was named momomaguro and you ca find it ♡HERE♡

The I went to Bonbon Maléfique, who makes great jewelry at a very affordable price, and she had started making hats, and they were gorgeous and I wanted one sooo bad ! So I came back home with my own floral hat ♡ I wish summer would last a little longer so I could wear it more !

Then I went to Summer Tales Boutique as usual ! I bought a skirt and a much needed pair of bloomers. I also picked some Dolly Wink lashes as she now sells them ! Katie was so nice, and her work is honestly so good I really recommend you support her ♡ She gifted me a small Wooly Lovely Face keychain and I attached it to Angelic Pretty bag I had bought a few days before and it matches so perfectly ♡

Also here are the Sailor Moon cosmetics I bought ! I hesitated between the face powder and the blush but I was afraid the powder wouldn't match my skin so I went with the blush. It's not the best blush I've seen but it's ok. It's not very pigmented so I doubt it would show on darker skin ... But the liner on the other hand ... it's godsent and I love it and I don't think I'll ever be able to use another eyeliner in my life. I bought the black one but I urgently need the brown version too !


Now, this shopping session would have been so perfect ... If not for the weeb who crept up behind me and lifted my skirt before running away with her other trash weeb friend.
I would have ran after her to teach her a politeness lesson in a muscular way ... But my mother was physically holding me to prevent me from assassinating someone.
I had read many stories about lolitas or cosplayers being physically assaulted at cons ... but now it happened to me and I feel so angry.

To finish up on a brighter note, I also visited the Kawaii International booth ! Domo-kun wasn't there, but I finally was able to take a picture with this awfully realistic cake crown. It's actually really heavy and I was afraid it would fall off my head ! The lighting also wan't very flattering but whatever, thanks to kawaii sticker apps we don't have to worry about these petty things anymore. Technology is amazing.
