This is just a quick post to share the pictures we took with Marinette after the opening of the Angelic Pretty pop-up shop !

The rue Crémieux in Paris is a street that is really popular with fashion bloggers ! It's really small (less than 200 meters long !) and fully pedestrian. Most of the houses here are painted with beautiful pastel colors ♡ The street is named after Adolphe Crémieux ... but to me it sounds a lot like « crème » witch is french for « cream » and it sounds so much cuter in my opinion ! (≧◡≦) ♡

Marina suggested we go there after the opening to take pictures ! It was fun but VERY hot ... We were watching the shade shrink as we were melting in the sun ! Also, such weather isn't the fittest to take pictures ... So this means we should come back one day, with better outfits even ?

On the 7th July the new Angelic Pretty store opened ! But what's different between this one, and the others from the previous years is that this one is PERMANENT !
I see many comments on Facebook of people who did not understand that this is a real permanent shop and not a pop-up.

Since the closing of Boddywood in 2014, we have had only pop-up shops. But some of us (Rosalynn, Anastassia, Marina and I) were expecting they were actually testing for a new shop (and not a reseller like Boddywood was).

Our prayers have been answered.

I stayed at Marina's place ! We went to bed veeeery late ... I think we slept for like ... one hour ? It wasn't a night, it was a nap actually. We got ready, got dressed and did our makeup with our sleepy eyes ... But we were very excited !

The thing is ... days before the opening, we went to the adress to check how things were going so far. It was closed of course. But we tried to spy the inside like creeps, to get a view of the decorations ... and of what they had in stock of course !

I had come back a second time, and the window was open this time, I was so so impatient !

Marina and I arrived at ... 6am. But it paid off because we were first in line ! I stayed so long in that shop, hyperventilating because even though I was motivated enough to arrive first, I did'nt have an item I specifically wanted to buy ... oops ...

The wait was going to be long ... And being dressed in AP, there was no way I was going to sit on the ground ... But there was a trash can next to the store ... and in that trash can, there were Angelic pretty cardboard boxes, probably from the shipping of the store stock. We picked them and sat on them on the ground ... I have (un)fortuately no pics of this. But at that time ... We were the true Hobolitas.

Once the number tickets were given, we decided to go to the nearest Starbucks to sit for a while, and enjoy some well-needed coffee to fight the lack of proper sleep.

We then headed with Marina and Sandra to the Tuileries gardens. Since it was so early in the morning, the lighting was beautiful and there was NO ONE ! Not even a single pickpocket ! It felt weird but so nice ! We wanted to take outfit pictures with the pretty ferris wheel that was installed ♡

Since I had no goal item set, it took me a long time to find what to buy. I ended up with a nice haul, however.





First of all, Angelic Pretty re-re-re-re-re-re-re-released Misty Sky. Last summer at the Pop-Up shop, I was among the first people in line too, and this time, I HAD A HOLY GRAIL ITEM.
This item was the Misty Sky OP. I originally wanted it in pink, but Mila was beforemein line and bought it ...

I hesitated between the JSK in pink, and the OP in lavender. I opted for the OP, and Marina bought the JSK.

However, at that time, there was no Misty Sky accessories at all ... Which was kinda sad. So this year, I picked the crew socks and the barrette, making Misty Sky my very first "full" set ever !






Listening to the advice, I decided to buy some staples as well. I love this bag as it's a 3-way bag, and can be worn as a backpack, which was very practical for the Japan Expo, where I got a keychain that matches it perfectly !

Also, the socks reminded of my very first pair of Angelic Pretty socks ... The Etoile Toe OTKs ... which are showing severe signs of use as I have worn them quite often. Ballerina socks are among my favorite types of legwear, and they make me quite nostalgic of the time when I started wearing lolita.





Of course, I ended up buying a main piece ... After hesitating between this, and the Luinous Sanctuary special set in pink, I opted for this as food print have always been my soft spot. I wasn't sure about the sax color at first (pink will always be my favorite) but the more I look a it, the more I like it, which is always great to be honest !


I normally don't like lucky packs, buying blindly has never been my thing. but the summer set was scandalously cheap (50€) and contained two tops and a bag. For that price, I decided to give it a go !

Hello, I'm even later than usual.
I won't say I have an excuse, I won't say sorry either. These past few months have been unbearable for me, and I'm currently working hard to fix myself right now. There ups and downs, but so far it's not too bad, maybe I'll write something about this later, or maybe I won't ... Who knows ?

But back to today's topic, it is this year's Street Fashion Europe event that took place in Amsterdam !
Anastassia, Marina and I shared an Airbnb room, not too far from the venue. I arrived by train before them, so I decided to walk a bit to take some pictures of the area.



Salut, je suis encore plus en retard que d'habitude.
Je ne vous sortirais pas d'excuse, je ne suis même pas désolée. Ces derniers mois ont été insupportables pour moi, et je travaille dur sur moi pour tenter d'aller mieux. Il y a des hauts et des bas, mais jusque là ce n'est pas si mal. Peut-être que j'écrirais quelque chose là dessus, ou peut-être pas ... Qui sait ?

Mais de retour au sujet de ce post, l'évènement Street Fashion Europe de cette année qui a pris place à Amsterdam !
Anastassia, Marina et moi avont partagé un airbnb pas loin du lieu. Je suis arrivée en train avant elle, et je suis du coup partie marcher et prendre quelques photos du quartier.

Also, yes ... I arrived by train. I was supposed to arrive by plane, it should have taken only a few hours ... But when I was about to get on the plane, something was wrong. My ID card was OUTDATED.
Now you might be wondering "But Roxane ??? Why didn't you check before going ???" ... Well, dear reader, that is of course because I'm an idiot !
I called my mom in despair, and we bought train tickets, and I was stressing the whole trip as I was afraid someone would control my identity in the Thalys. But apparently, no one really cares, and that's the story of how I illegally immigrated in the Netherlands to go to a SFE event !



Et oui ... Je suis arrivée en train. Je devais arriver en avion, ça ne devait prendre que quelques heures ... Mais juste quand j'allais monter dans l'avion, quelque chose n'allait pas. Ma carte d'identité était PÉRIMÉE.
Maintenant, vous vous demandez, "Mais Roxane ??? Pourtant n'as-tu pas vérifié avant de partir ???" et bien cher lecteur, chère lectrice ... C'est bien entendu parce que je suis stupide !
J'ai appelé ma mère en désastre, et on a acheté des billets de train. J'étais en stress pendant tout le voyage, car j'avais peur des contrôles d'identité dans le Thalys. Mais apparemment, personne ne s'en préoccupait, et c'est ainsi que j'ai émigré illégalement aux Pays Bas pour aller à un évènement SFE.










So I went outside and snapped a few pics, as I had some time to lose, and went to look for the venue so we wouldn't get lost the next day. My little trip was quick, and when I got back, Anastassia and Marina were in front of the door ! We ate at a restaurant, and went to bed because we were getting up early !

But even when waking up early, we ended up being late, well, at least Ana and I since we went to the rehearsal for the fashion show ! We then went outside, and waited to get in !



Je suis donc sortie prendre quelques photos, et comme j'avais du temps à perdre, j'ai trouvé l'hôtel pour nous éviter de nous perdre le lendemain. Mon petit voyage fut de courte durée, et quand je suis revenue, Ana et Marina étaient devant la porte ! On est allées manger dans un resto, et on est partie se coucher, on se levait tôt demain !

Mais même en se couchant tôt ... On a fini par être en retard ! Ou du moin Ana et moi l'étions, car nous devions assister à la répétition du défilé.

We went to see Ayumi Watanabe, at the Rose Marie Seoir stand, and I BOUGHT MY FIRST RMS OP ! I tried it on just to be sure, and I fell in love with it. Marina gave up and bought the same print as me in the other cut ! ♡
I bought the ribbon short sleeve OP and she bought the longsleeve OP ♡





Nous sommes allées voir Ayumi Watanabe au stand Rose Marie Seoir, et j'ai ACHETE MA PREMIERE OP RMS ! Je l'ai essayée pour être sûre, et j'en suis tombée amoureuse. Marina a abandonné toute maîtrise d'elle-même et a acheté le mêmeprint dans l'autre coupe ♡J'ai acheté l'OP ruban à manches courtes, et elle a pris l'OP à manches longues ♡

We did a mini photoshoot together after the event, I had a sneak peek of the pictures and they look so good ♡ Marina hasn't posted them yet, but you can stalk ♡HER BLOG♡ to see the pictures when she's done editing them !

The fun thing with the OP I bought was that ... It was actually the dress I was supposed to wear for the fashion show ! You know that feeling when you're trying on a dress and you want to keep it forever ? Well ... I did !



 Comme nous étions nouvellement des twins, nous avons fait un petit photoshoot après l'event. J'ai eu un aperçu des photos, et elles ont l'air vraiment très belles ♡ Marina ne les a pas encore postées, mais vous pouvez stalker ♡SON BLOG♡ pour voir les photos une fois qu'elle aura fini de les traiter !

Ce qui était drôle aussi ... C'est que l'OP que j'ai achetée était celle que je devais porter au défilé ! Vous savez, quand vous essayez une robe, et que vous voulez plus la lâcher ? ... Moi je ne l'ai pas lâchée la mienne !












After the fashion show, Ayumi wanted to take pictures of Anastassia, Jonelle and me in our fashion show outfits ! To my knowledge, she hasn't used them, so I don't know what they look like. But it was fun, either way !



Après le défilé, Ayumi voulait prendre des photos d'Ana, de Jonelle et moi dans nos tenues de défilé ! A ma connaissance, elles ne les a pas utilisées, je ne sais pas à quoi elles ressemblent, mais au moins c'était fun !

We then did some shopping (again !) And I notably bought a second hand Jane Marple JSK at the Madame Chocolat stand, a pair of Summer Tales Boutique earrings, and a pair of Owloli glasses that were on the fashion show !

Also, Mila was working for Kawaii.i for a report about the event, and selected me to be interviewed !



Puis nous sommes parties faire du shopping (encore une fois !) et j'ai notemment acheté une JSK Jane Marple d'occasion, des boucles d'oreilles Summer Tales Boutique et une paire de lunettes Owloli qui étaient dans le fashion show !

En plus de cela, Mila travaillait pour Kawaii.i sur un reportage de l'évènement, et m'a sélectionnée pour une petite interview !

Of course, there were many other outfits way more amazing than me ! I have selected my favorites, and instead of photographing them all, I have filmed them and put them in this video below ! The venue was very bright, so the lighting was perfect for this ♡



 Bien sûr, il y avait plein de tenues bien plus belles que la mienne ! J'i sélectionné mes préférées, mais au lieu de les photographier, je les ai filmées, et je les ai compilée dans la vidéo ci-dessous ! La salle était bien éclairée, j'avais de la chance ♡
